Social life does not mean a group of people gathered together at a given geographical location for fulfilling their common interests and optimal use of their limited resources.
From my point of view, social life begins when people come together not for their personal gain, but rather to help one another to grow.
When personal gain outside of the boundaries of the common interests of the society becomes the reason for a group of people coming together and ends up being the common practice in that society, the number of people we surround ourselves will become irrelevant. Whether we have a single companion or have been surrounded by thousands of people, loneliness will be our real companion; loneliness that we have created for others as well as ourselves.
