Celia and Esteban share a longing: to find a purpose that gives meaning to their lives. Although they seem to have everything, they are united by an essential void that drives them to meet every Sunday in a small town in Spain with the goal of saving each other, thereby saving themselves.
A Zaragoza (Spain) native born in 1990 and a fan of Twin Peaks, her cinematic pursuits have been shaped at prestigious institutions like New York University, School of Visual Arts, the Lisbon Film School, and the Complutense University of Madrid.
She has directed nine short films, several of which have received international awards in both the United States and Europe. Notably, one of her early works was selected by Danish director Lars Von Trier to be part of his project “Disaster 501: What Happened to Man?”
She is currently working on her first feature film, “Lamb of me”. The project was selected to participate in the Sitges Fantastic Film Festival Residency (2024) and won the short-teaser award at the Sitges Festival (2024), which will allow her to produce the teaser for the project.
