Ming-Kai and Ah-Jie are searching for their place in a world not made for them. As the boys roam the neighboring corn field looking for somewhere to settle, they decide to occupy an empty rooftop in order to fill it with their curiosities, dreams and memories.
Tang Hao was born in 1997. Raised in the rural south of Taiwan. He is doing his MFA (Film Directing) at the Taipei National University of the Arts. He made music videos and works as a screenwriter with an awarded work Cupid on Target (2017). Burning (2022) is his first short. The filmmaker returns to his hometown to tell stories that root in the earth.
