Slava began her journey in cinema as a teenage actor with lauded performances in Bulgarian feature films. Later, she completed a MA in Filmmaking at the London Film School, where she wrote and directed several shorts that traveled the world.

Alumna of the Sarajevo Talents, Berlinale Short Film Station and the Locarno Filmmaker’s Academy. Her latest project won the European Short Pitch award in 2019.
