Damián Vondrášek (b. 1991, Prague) is studying directing at Prague’s Film Academy (FAMU). He was already making movies before entering school; his short work In the Rain (2014) screened at the 10th Prague Short Film Festival. Together (2015) took best director at Famufest 2015. Imprisoned (2016) was selected to San Sebastian IFF , Karlovy Vary IFF and nominated for the Magnesia Award for Best Student Film (presented during the Czech Lion Awards).
