About the author

Jordan Rodgers

Jordan Rodgers is a Liverpool based multimedia artist specialising in digital drawing and animation to exhibition and theatrical performance including cinematography, site-specific installation and outdoor projection.

His degree was in Fine Art Practice & Theory at Lancaster University. Since graduating in July 2012 his work has already been exhibited in selected group and solo shows and published in national and international art magazines and websites, including the Aesthetica Art Prize 2012, and the 100 Contemporary Artists 2013 Anthology and the Jerwood Drawing Prize 2013.

In 2014 Jordan joined Hope Street Ltd as part of the internationally renowned Emerging Artists Programme 2014 taking on the role of Digital Artist/ Animator. To date he has participated in five theatrical productions – Sense and Sustainability, Spring Heeled Jack, Race Against Time, This Must Be The Place and Control 25. Passionate about working within various aspects of cinematography/ motion design to combine filmmaking and storyboarding with drawing and animation, Jordan seeks to offer a unique innovation to challenge the relationship between audience and experience.
