Beings who exist in a world by hanging from ropes are all engaged in a struggle to avoid falling into the void below.
I am a Colombian animator currently living in Canada
After 4 years of struggling in the world of medicine I decided to abandon Med School to pursue Animation. The lack of animation schools in Colombia caused me to explore possibilities outside my country.
In 2013 I had the opportunity to attend the Classical Animation Program at Vancouver Film School where I directed my first two shorts Pursuit and Religatio.
The latter has been very well received with more than thirty screenings at festivals around the world and obtained awards and distinctions including 2nd Place in the Student Category at ASIFA-East in New York and a Honourable Mention at SPARK Animation in Vancouver.
I currently live in Newfoundland where I am finishing a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts and starting a new project. I also work in the summer as a Layout/Posing Artist at DHX Media in Vancouver.
With the financial support of National Culture Fund.
