An old man has build five theater stages in a large warehouse. Now he looks at the reenactment of the most beautiful memories of his live, so he can feel like he did when his wife was still alive.
Bart Schrijver was born on the 17th of November 1990 in a small village in the south of the Netherlands. When he was 18 years old he moved to Amsterdam and started studying architecture at the technical university of Delft. During his first year of architecture he created his first animated film for his brothers business, more business followed and his first production company ‘Bart Schrijver Production’ was born.
In 2015, together with his sister Teuntje Schrijver, he started his second company ‘It happened on a tuesday’(tuesdayfilm). With Tuesdayfilm the emphasis was more on creating fiction film. In their first year they created 4 short films, wrote and directed 3 together and Bart wrote and directed 1 on his own. His latest film ‘Memories of you’ was written by the siblings, but directed by Bart. Future plans involve making a new short film about flying whales and making Memories of you into a 120 minute feature.
