Synopsis

Young Matilda and Prince are taken on a life-changing trip by a stranger. Kids, gangsters and Ghana’s vibrant coast as you’ve never seen them.

Anthony Nti – Rondini

Anthony Nti is a Ghanaian-born Belgian director and writer. After attending the Royal Institute of Theatre, Cinema and Sound in Brussels (2014), he went on to direct many commercials, music videos, and shorts. video for Yung Mavu went viral only days after its release. His first two short films, Kwaku (Clermont- Ferrand, 2013) and Only Us, picked up seven awards between them, including first prize at the Zanzibar Film Festival. His short, BOI (Fight), won the Critic Award and Best Debut at the Leuven Film Festival and the Jury and Public Prize at the Ghent Film Festival 2016. Most recently he won the Grand Prix at the 42nd International Film Festival Clermont Ferrand with his short Da Yie. He’s currently developing his television show, which is selected for the Torino SeriesLab. ‘Postcard’, his feature-length film in development with Caviar, has won second prize at the Sam Spiegel Film lab.
